Get a passport photo at staples, digital and a receipt to prove it was taken professionally, must include date taken and where
where is my UCI number ? Guessing it is the ID number on my PR card
Filled out the form, it was awkward
it wanted fronts and backs of a (PR) card but only allowed 1 image upload?
wanted you to name the files a specific way for uploads
wanted passport, drivers license, pr card, date you immigrated from your landing form
proof of residency but again 1 upload allowed but wanted to prove 5 years? i went with t4 forms? i hope that works
i had to fill out a checklist in adobe PDF print it b/c to print to PDF is paid, then scan and PDF it to re upload it, it literally was just check confirm i did X (uploaded photo) etc why was that not a part of the online web form?!?
I had to take all the data from my travel document i've been keeping and enter it, which i travel a lot so that took a long time, they wanted more detail than i recorded so hopefully it's enough
i.e. they wanted country, city, state and i sometimes just has state
also had to include husbands passport b/c i traveled with him and he's a canadian citizen and so those days abroad don't count?
and our marriage certificate
I had to pay on another site then upload the payment receipt into that form? and hope i picked the correct payment type
I don't think i needed to do biometrics but at first i thought maybe i did? and tried to register an appointment but couldnt b/c i needed an invite number so i guess if i do they will send an invite number?
the form (website) also hung on uploading my image from staples, so i had to change browsers
and the other browser it said it was too light but it looked fine it me and it's all i had so i went with it anyway and cross my fingers it is good enough
i need to start studying for citizenship so i can not have to do this again
