Skipped the red onion
used half lemon not whole
both good ideas

forgot to toast the buns, no big deal

i think i burned the hazelnuts a bit, and uugh small things that roll suck to chop

i skipped all the salt and pepper steps, they are a bit salt and pepper happy

end result: YUM i love the salad and the burgers are good

No pics - james made it for us for lunch while he was up this weekend, it was very good, i think the onion should have gone in sooner as it was too crunchy, we also only used half an onion. it was tasty though, too bad he forgot to strain the pepper out! that was a surprise burn

I'd run the nuts through a food processor or nut grinder if possible. That's a lot easier than chopping. Mom has a nut grinder because she does enough cookies with nuts that it's worth it-- a unitasker, but a really useful one. Or if I were buying nuts to put on salads (rather than having specific ingredients sent by Blue Apron), I might just buy pre-chopped ones.
