life update

went home thanksgiving

had doctor stuff of course

then gilded festival with quiana

then home with kelly

then MCCC holiday end of year thing
i suck at networking and social
it was ok, but not a good investment IMO
then we had rackspace holiday party - also meant for more extroverted people - people were having fun with the games and dance floor and stuff, the food was fine, drinks were fine, poker was OK, but, i felt, meh? kelly said it was fun so obviously i suck at fun, also failed to socialize, also weird to see people outside work

tonight was socializing at a UX designer leaving the company happy hour, managed for a bit, but social is awkward, can we all not just exist only online?

4k over my limits, so cancelling gallifrey (selling ticket) and anything else that is not local and inexpensive

exceptions: shmoocon, bsidesLV (though may work bsideslv and defcon and find roomie)

also Q is making me goto twisted

so no flying, will lose my status

i hope work will send me to texas twice next year or maybe 4 times

also maybe get tubes tied in florida this year

have a wedding october

will likely visit sister

but no seattle, portland, san fran, may sneak boston in with wedding, may sneak TN in on a long weekend, no founders day no wicked faire, no dragon con no origins, no gencon, WTE i might do as tax write off if i can, Q is going to expect me to do universal when the new park bit is done, might need to combine that was a fl visit to make it work

i hope tea business picks up and stops being a money drain
