Day 7
I should lose weight, I would like to get back to better on committing to less and over-booking myself less.
Supplemental Question: As society reopens and you reemerge, how would you like to see society shifting in the coming months? Or would you like it simply to go back to the way it was pre-COVID-19 pandemic?
Answer:
I would like things to mostly go back to pre-COVID (shopping, social gatherings!)
but
we *should* (but likely) didn't learn the following lessons which I feel should change
-everyone needs healthcare (healthcare should include eyes and teeth but i'll fight that another day if we can start with this) healthcare needs to include mental health
-better financial safety nets and process (UBI and unemployment and easier to halt evictions and mortgages in emergencies)
-find ways to better guarantee everyone food, safe shelter, internet, utilities, and access to phone and computers
-pay essential workers better (teachers, delivery drivers, grocery store workers, meat plant processing, etc)
-end qualified immunity
-end civil asset forfeiture
-defund the police (still have police, less militarized, less of, fund social work and mental health care and harm reduction etc better)
-don't rely on people being good, have our checks and balances system in government in the USA work
